Production Manager

Position: Production Manager 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead production team, directly managing multiple team members in the manufacturing of footwear, apparel and accessories
  • Conduct self in a professional manner in regards to communication, tidiness, and time management
  • Manage team members to operate within time management guidelines:
    • Oversee team member schedule; including but not limited to clock in, clock out, breaks, lunch, and sick days
    • Conduct routine, individual, performance-based meetings with production team members
  • Collaborate with General Manager to establish weekly production schedule from production list, assigning overtime to team members when necessary
    • Prepare daily schedule per production department, assigning key performance indicators, and assuring projects meet expected deadlines
  • Collaborate with Design and Development team in the manufacturing process to ensure high quality standards are being met for each project
  • Collaborate with Sourcing Manager to:
    • Ensure production list is updated in accordance with internal project management platforms
    • Source complete list of raw materials in house prior to starting any project
    • Organize and label materials into designated areas
  • Lead team members to operate in a clean and organized setting; ensuring project bins are visibly labeled, front and back, organized on racks, removing any excess waste from racks, tables, or floors
  • Coordinate daily team huddles to communicate priorities, updates, wins and opportunities of improvement
  • Update real time project statuses in production list
    • Prepare projects with bins and cut tickets at least one day prior to project start date Complete daily production report at the end of each day
    • Serve as point of contact for production machines, ensuring routine cleaning, service and maintenance
  • Prepare agenda in advance of weekly production meeting for leadership team
  • Assist with language translation across team members in cross departmental functions
  • Manage email correspondence in a timely and professional manner with internal and external parties
  • Circulate internal memos to team members for status updates and action items


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • 2-5 years experience managing operations or manufacturing preferred
  • Proficient in G-Suite and basic Word, Excel and Powerpoint functions
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment that requires working on multiple
  • projects and changing project priorities
  • Ability to work nights and weekends on occasion
  • Ability to take initiative and exhibit strong organizational abilities
  • Professional and respectful demeanor around in celebrities, athletes, and talent.
  • Interest in fashion and sneaker culture a plus
